The American Feed Industry Association has shared their Animal Feed Ingredient Consumption Report! Animal agriculture plays an important role in a healthy and sustainable food system. Animals rely on expertly formulated diets to achieve optimal health and performance, and the U.S. animal feed industry recognizes its important role in providing high-quality, complete nutrition for domestic livestock, poultry and fish. The Institute for Feed Education and Research (IFEEDER) is committed to equipping the industry and its stakeholders with credible science and the only comprehensive data on U.S. animal feed consumption. The dataset is used by feed industry members, upstream and downstream value chain stakeholders, researchers and others to understand the scope and status of feed ingredient components and use.
